I find it difficult to relax and slow down and I am worried yoga won’t suit me.
In my experience, most people that come to yoga, come because they want to look after themselves not just physically but mentally too. Initially, we may find it difficult to relax at the beginning of our class, during meditation and at the end of our class during shavasana. However, this is absolutely normal and it will get easier and you will start to quickly feel the benefits of this in your everyday life.
Will yoga help me with my anxiety?
Yoga is known to help support you in reducing anxiety by teaching you to be present in your body during your body and focus on your breathing, which you will learn to use in your everyday life.
